I have started reading, "The Fault In Our Stars" by John Green. I chose this book because it was getting very popular and I was told it was very very good. Also really emotion filled which is one of the things I like in a book. And the movie version is coming out this summer and 2 actors from Divergent, which I love, play the 2 main characters in "The Fault In Our Stars". So naturally I really want to go see the movie. The first night I started the book I got to page 91, and let me tell you that book is very good. I like how the author has the main character very real and close to what a teenager would actually think, and feel, and act.
Another reason I chose this book was because it's about a teenager and her struggle through life. With the cancer she has, relationships (after being anitsocial for almost 3 years), losing relationships with people because she got pulled out of school. But most of all her struggle with herself. The way she thinks her life will turn out and how she veiws herself. The internal battle that really has the character pull and struggle and change throughout the book. These are a couple reasons I chose to read this book. I think it is a very very good book to read and i'm only 91 pages in.
I've heard this is a really popular and interesting book. I'm actually thinking about reading it because it's been recomended to me by multiple people. I just have one question, do you have any idea why thoe book is actually called "the fault in our stars"? Because to me it seems like the title doesn't have anything to do with the story.
ReplyDeleteI read this a while ago and I really enjoyed the book. If you liked this, you should definitely read 'Paper Towns' by John Green [same author] because, well, I just started it recently and I have heard so many great things about it. When you read the ending of TFIOS [if you have by now] what did you think?
